The Kumiko Files

The breed reveal

What, exactly, is Miko?

exhibit a: miko
exhibit b: the mother

Kumiko (Miko to her friends) was born in Ramah, New Mexico—a small, historic mountain village known as the gateway to El Morro National Monument. Situated on the Navajo Reservation, it is high-desert ranch country, population ~400, where sheep and cattle outnumber people. Now living in Durango, Colorado, she’s 20 weeks old, 20 pounds, quick, energetic, and exactly half a mystery. Her DNA report exists, and it is sealed. Her mother, Exhibit B, declined to comment on the father.
