Situated on the Navajo Reservation, it is high-desert ranch country, population ~400, where sheep and cattle outnumber people. Now living in Durango, Colorado, she’s 20 weeks old, 20 pounds, quick, energetic, and exactly half a mystery. Her DNA report exists, and it is sealed. Her mother, Exhibit B, declined to comment on the father.
